Continental Tires has unveiled its latest tyre innovations at the Continental Track Day event in Chennai, introducing the PremiumContact 6 (PC6) tyres for passenger vehicles and Gen3 Truck Radial tyres for commercial vehicles in India. The company also showcased its ContiSeal technology, a breakthrough in tyre safety.

PremiumContact 6 Tyres

Key Features:

✔ Macroblock Technology – Enhances cornering stability and vehicle control.

 ✔ Silica Compound – Ensures reliable grip on both wet and dry surfaces, ideal for monsoons and hot summers.

 ✔ Asymmetric Rib Geometry – Increases pattern stiffness, reducing block deformation and improving grip during lateral movements.

 ✔ Availability – The PremiumContact 6 is available in rim sizes from 17 to 20 inches at Continental Tires outlets across India.

ContiSeal Technology

Continental Tires introduced ContiSeal, a self-sealing tyre technology that automatically seals up to 85% of tread punctures caused by objects up to 5 mm in diameter. The special viscous sealant layer inside the tyre prevents air loss, even if the puncturing object is dislodged, enhancing safety and reducing reliance on spare tyres.

Gen3 Truck Radial Tyres

Key Features:

✔ 295/90 R20 – Available in five advanced tread patterns, optimized for hybrid and regional use, with improved efficiency and higher load capacity.

 ✔ 235/75 R17.5 – Designed for light commercial vehicles (buses and trucks), prioritizing durability and mileage for long-term performance.
